ClO₂ Regulatory

Using Purate^® to produce chlorine dioxide can significantly reduce or eliminate substantial regulatory effort and cost compared to using regulated products, like chlorine gas.

Purate^® and sulfuric acid are NOT covered chemicals under PSM. Even though chlorine dioxide is a covered chemical, it is generated on site and used immediately, so the TQ is never even approached.

Chlorine dioxide produced from Purate^® avoids all of the PSM and RMP requirements and associated costs.
